Is there an Adele sex tape floating around?

Not so fast, according to Camp Adele.

The British singer has already fired back with legal action against Public, a French tabloid that led with the headline, Exclusif! Adele La sex tape!

The cover has a photo of the Grammy winner, along with a smaller photo of a woman, who bears no resemblance to Adele, in said sex tape.

Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs . . . such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter, Adele's spokesperson told the Daily Mail on Friday.

The Daily Mail also reports that Adele has hired Schillings to represent the singer in taking legal action against the French tabloid.

Adele has been making headlines all week, thanks to her big Grammy night on Sunday. The 23-year-old songstress took home all 6 Grammys she was nominated for, including Record of the Year for Rolling In The Deep.

The Grammys also marked Adele's first public appearance with her new beau, Simon Knecki.

According to the French tabloid, the sex tape was made by the singer's ex-boyfriend -- yes, the same one who reportedly inspired the songs to 21.

Over a 3-page spread, Public's sex tape exposé reveals stills of the singer, under the headline, Adele, the Sex Tape, her ex takes his revenge, according to the Telegraph.

The tabloid also has exclusives on Scarlet Johansson's body, Lana Del Rey and Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter (Really her baby?).

21, Adele's second studio album, has sold more than 17 million copies worldwide since its January 2011 release.
