Celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 broke up in November after a two-month relationship. Now, they are engaged, and the engagement happened on Twitter.

"I can't wait for Christmas so ... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?" the 31-year-old Canadian DJ asked Von D on the social media site, along with a photo of a diamond engagement ring. On the picture, Deadmau5 also wrote, “Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI. Sorry for the jpg … they’ll finish the actual ring soon I hope. I love you:D.”

The couple’s followers on the site seemed just as happy about the proposal as Deasmau5. One user wrote, “holy [expletive]! Nothing but good wishes your way! You guys worked it out and are happy! I love you both! J”

Kat Von D replied to the proposal with a number of exclamation points, prompting Deadmau5 to write "Holy [expletive] im engaged and stuff!"

Von D had previously been in a relationship with "Monster Guy" star Jesse James, actress Sandra Bullock's ex-husband.

Von D and Deadmua5 had split up in November, reportedly over infidelity allegations. After the break up, Deadmau5 wrote on Facebook: "going to spend a little while screwing my head back on. i guess im not cut out for relationships right now. and that's all i really wan't to dwell on it right now. ill figure it out. no hard feelings. [sic]

"it happened too fast, i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with. she deserves someone stronger.

"... and thats it for the personal stuff... on with our regularly scheduled deadmau5 crap [sic],” he added.

Kat Von D also spoke about the split via Twitter.

"Man ... Can't say I didn't give it my best," she wrote. "Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned. Now, we can get all of the 'I told you so's' outta the way ... And move on.

After their engagement was announced, Kat Von D wrote on Twitter, "Mi corazon!!! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!"

Deadmau5 also thanked his followers for their support, tweeting "thanks for the well wishes and support from the horde and everyone else! brb while i spend the rest of my evening with my future wife :) [sic]."
