30 Rock star Alec Baldwin showed off his dramatic weight loss at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, shedding 30 pounds in four months through his new diet.

I lost 30 pounds in four months, 53-year-old Baldwin told Access Hollywood. It's amazing.

But how did he do it?

I gave up sugar, he said simply. Sugar was the real killer for me - that was the problem.

Baldwin was diagnosed as a pre-diabetic last May and was forced to change up his eating habits.

Fans noticed the weight loss at the SAGs and have flooded his Twitter account with questions how he did it.

Giving up sugar, he said. Truly a battle.

However, one fan asked what Baldwin likes about the state of Rhode Island, as he was filming outside of Providence. His response?

Loved Caserta's Pizza (which I've given up).

But his eating habits were the only contributing factor to his weight loss. Baldwin has been dating a 27-year-old yoga instructor named Hilaria Thomas for over a year who has lent him a hand in the process.

Pilates, spin, not as much yoga as I'd like, he said. When we're shooting ['30 Rock'] it's tough... When we're shooting and I can't work out, I just have to eat less. So, I'm very conscious of that.

Baldwin was also inspired to get more in shape since he reportedly is planning on having more children in addition to his 16-year-old daughter from ex-wife Kim Basinger, according to the New York Daily News.

Have I thought about having more kids? Oh sure, that would be great, that would be heaven, that would be fantastic, Baldwin said on Piers Morgan Tonight last week. When you have children, typically in a second marriage, when you're older and you get married again to a woman who would have children, you must always remember that you make sure (the children) attend a college where the commencement ceremonies are held in a facility with a wheelchair accessible ramp.

Alec Baldwin also dished to Access Hollywood about 30 Rock, which he confirmed will have a seventh season.

I think we're going to do some kind of season next year - they're not sure whether we're going to do a full season or maybe a piece of a season, [but] there's going to be something next year, I believe, Baldwin said.
