The Federal Aviation Administration has ruled that a pilot flying a plane carrying two members of the mile-high club was not distracted while porn star/skydiving instructor Alex Torres was having sex with his co-worker in preparation for a jump.

The sex stunt was videotaped but is not available on YouTube due to its explicit content.

Torres -- aka Voodoo -- and Hope Howell have since been fired from Skydive Taft, where the award-winning pornographic actor star moonlighted as a skydiving instructor.

FAA spokesman Ian Gregory had previously told The Sacramento Bee that activity potentially distracting to a pilot could be a violation of federal regulations, but the investigation found no violations.

Skydive Taft owner David Chrouch told MSNBC prior to the investigation that he wasn't concerned about a potential safety breach.

He [the pilot] was in complete control of the plane at all times, said Chrouch. I mean, he looked back a couple of times. The same thing he does if there are other skydivers in the plane. He is going to look back, he's going to look around to see what everyone is doing.

Howell has claimed that her boss knew about the mile-high stunt in advance.

I am happy I did it. I wouldn't change it for the world, and it did get the attention of Howard Stern -- our whole goal in general, Howell  told a local California ABC affiliate.

Despite having lost her job over the incident, Howell does not appear to regret it. My adrenaline was rushing. I was so excited. I was pumped. I was ready for it to be edited, Howell told 23ABC.

Howell acknowledged the criticism over the reckless stunt, but is not letting it get to her.

Anyone else that has anything bad to say, that's them. They can take that to their grave, and I am going to take sex and skydiving all the way to my grave, she said.

According to Alexandre Boisvert's Wikipedia page, he is married to fellow porn star Nicole Sheridan. He's also reportedly the winner of two Adult Video News (AVN) awards, for Best Oral Sex Scene (2005) and Best Anal Sex Scene (2002).

Torres has removed the video of the stunt from his blog, but CNN published a video with some censored stills:
