It’s been more than a decade since National Basketball Association legend Allen Iverson unleashed his infamous “practice” rant at a postgame press conference, but the former Philadelphia 76ers’ latest commercial shows that the outburst is as funny as ever.

Iverson appears alongside fellow 1990’s basketball stars Shaquille O’Neal and Shawn Kemp in “The Retro Shop,” the latest incarnation in a series of Reebok commercials. In the episode, entitled “The Kamikaze,” the basketball stars meet up with celebrities such as comedian Lil Duval and rapper French Montana to discuss everything from the game to their taste in pants.

Eventually, the discussion draws the attention of Iverson, who spins around in his chair to mock his friends. “Pants? We talking about pants? Not the game, but pants? How silly is that? Old man, take this cape off me, I’m out of here. We talking about pants?” Iverson says before storming out of the retro shop.

Iverson’s appearance in the Reebok commercial spoofs a 2002 press conference in which the former NBA MVP criticized reporters for missing team practices. “I’m supposed to be the franchise player, and we’re in here talking about practice. We talking about practice. Not a game, not a game, not a game. We talking about practice,” he said. Iverson’s entire “practice” rant can be viewed here.
