Amber Rose has almost gotten her pre-baby body back, nine months after giving birth to son Sebastian Feb. 21. The 30-year-old former video vixen posted a photo of her progress on Instagram, and discussed how celebrity mothers who show off their slim figures after three months are not the norm.[[nid:1488098]]
She may have been indirectly speaking about Kim Kardashian, who began showing off her weight loss three months after giving birth to North. Rose dated Kanye West, Kardashian’s fiancé, before he ended up with Kim, and even accused her of cheating on then-boyfriend Reggie Bush with West.
Rose posted the picture of her weight loss with the following caption, “I'm almost at my goal weight. Just 7 pounds to go! Absolutely no surgery just diet & exercise. Most celebs give u false hope when u have a baby ( My son was 9lbs) and in 3 months ur supposed to be skinny again..... It's not realistic in most cases. It takes 6 weeks to heal before u could even work out. Anyway, the moral of the story is losing baby weight the natural way takes longer but it's much healthier for ur body and helps u stay strong to carry another baby. So don't put ur life at risk for societies standards of when ur suppose to lose ur pregnancy weight. Take ur time & don't take the easy way out [sic]– Muva”
She is right, as women are supposed to get permission from their doctor before any exercise program after having a child. Doctors usually recommend waiting six to eight weeks post-partum.
Meanwhile, the new mother seems to still be happy in love, after getting married to rapper Wiz Khalifa in July at a courthouse. The couple said that they plan to have another wedding ceremony for family and friends.
