Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have quashed growing divorce rumors after they celebrated their second wedding anniversary last week together, Us Weekly reported. Over the last few months, the couple has been surrounded with rumors that they are on the verge of ending their marriage amid reports of Pitt's alleged cheating.

The two, who married after nine years together on Aug. 23, 2014, spent their anniversary at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

“It was just the two of them. They had dinner and spent the night, and that was it,” a source told Us Weekly. “They left the next day.” The insider added that Pitt and Jolie took a hotel getaway for the night as they "want to keep the love alive.”

Jolie and Pitt, who are the parents to six children, have recently been rumored to be heading for a split amid alleged marital problems. Rumors also surfaced that the two were planning “crisis talks” to save their marriage after the actress realized how “far apart” they had become as a couple. Jolie's health issues also have been blamed on their rumored relationship problems.

However, Gossip Cop has debunked all rumors surrounding reports of their troubled marriage.

Meanwhile, the couple has been spotted together on several occasions spending time with their children.
