Angelina Jolie brought some treats for her daughter Vivienne Jolie Pitt's martial arts class.

The "Maleficent" star surprised fellow parents and Vivienne's classmates when she showed up at the Shaolin American Self Defense Academy in North Hollywood. Jolie reportedly brought Day of the Dead-decorated cookies from Porto's Bakery for the children.

"Every time Vivienne did a move, Angelina made sure to watch and smile at her — it was sweet," one parent told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that Jolie kept herself busy by reading a script.

The insider went on to say that the script must have been top secret because Jolie's name was printed on every page. Most producers usually do this as a precaution to prevent leaks. There are rumors that Brad Pitt's estranged wife will voice a character in "The One and Only Ivan." The Disney film is based on the Newbery Medal-winning book by Katherine Applegate and illustrated by Patricia Castelao.

Jolie has been spotted more frequently with her kids after her split from Pitt. However, she also makes sure to devote time to her UN duties and campaigns.

Jolie is set to give a keynote address at the Vancouver summit next week as a special envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative. The "Changeling" star will likely touch on the issue of gender equality in peacekeeping and ending sexual abuse in her speech.

Jolie had been working with UNHRC for several years before she was appointed as special envoy for the organization in April 2012. Earlier this year, she renewed her contract as special envoy as she said she believes in its mission. "I'm with you for life," the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" star said.

Aside from keeping herself busy with her career and UNHCR engagements, Jolie has been experimenting with her fashion. Lately, she's been adding twists to her usual all-black ensemble.

For instance, she stood out in a yellow dress when she attended the Asian World Film Fest in Culver City last Friday. She then sported a black mini-dress showing off her legs during a meet and greet with her fans in California over the weekend.

On Monday, Jolie dressed in a silver gown when she graced the Hollywood Film Awards. Her ensemble was designed by Kate Middleton's favorite designer, Jenny Packham.
