Angelina Jolie is determined to move on after her highly publicized split from estranged husband Brad Pitt. The “Maleficent” star is reportedly eyeing a new home for her and her six children.

Jolie is reportedly interested in the historic estate of Hollywood pedigree Cecil B. DeMille. The “Changeling” star reportedly made an offer for the property listed for $24.95 million. The mansion is located at Laughlin Park in Los Angeles, Variety reported.

The property sprawls across 2.1-acre grounds. Its main residence is an Italianate Revival villa which spans around 7,500 square feet, according to the tax records. In addition, the estate also includes a detached garage, a tiny tea house above the swimming pool, a sizeable pool house with a fitness room and a roomy guesthouse to accommodate visitors comfortably.

The estate is spacious enough for Jolie and her six children. But although the star has already made an offer, there is still no word if the sale will be finalized.

In October, Jolie and Pitt decided to sell their New Orleans home for $4.9 million following their split, as per The Hollywood Reporter. The exes purchased the property for $3.5 in 2007 after Hurricane Katrina.

According to the listing, the 7,645-square-foot, three-story mansion has five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two half-baths. Listing agent Nina Killeen confirmed that the deal was closed on Oct. 28 last year. “It sold for a very fair price. It’s a good deal for both parties. They’re happy with the outcome,” Killeen said.

Pitt and Jolie endured a messy divorce and custody battle after their split in September last year. However, things between the “Mr. And Mrs. Smith” stars have reportedly already cooled down. In fact, a source recently said that the couple is already on speaking terms again.

“Things have calmed settled between Brad and Angelina. It’s not as tense as it had been,” the source told E! News. “They are focused on the kids and working to do what’s best for them. They recently started talking again and it’s a significant step. Up until now, everything was through lawyers and assistant.”
