AnTuTu has revealed its top 10 best performing smartphones for 2015. The Apple iPhone 6S Plus has grabbed the numero uno position by defeating several other popular smartphones, such as Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+ Google Nexus 6P and others.

AnTuTu’s list for top 10 smartphones with best performance in 2015 was created by taking into account the average benchmark score of several smartphones across different brands. The Apple iPhone 6S that features a 1.84 GHz dual-core processor and PowerVR GT7600 graphics and 2 GB of RAM has recorded a very high score of 132,600 points, G for Games reported.

The second best smartphone in the list is the Huawei Mate 8 that is powered by Kirin 950 chipset. It includes a Cortex A72 quad-core processor working at 2.3 GHz and a Cortex A53 quad-core processor gunning at 1.8 GHz along with Mali-T880 MP4 graphics and 4 GB of RAM. It has recorded a score of 92,746 points. In comparison to iPhone 6S Plus, the average performance of Huawei Mate 8 on AnTuTu is 30 percent lower.

A common feature between both the smartphones that have clinched the number one and second spot is that their displays support a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The third spot belongs to Meizu Pro 5 that is powered by Exynos 7420 chipset by Samsung.

It houses a Cortex A53 quad-core processor that clocks 1.5 GHz and Cortex A57 quad-core processor that works 2.1GHz and Mali-T760 MP8 graphics. The Exynos 7420 chipset is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone has recorded an AnTuTu score of 86,214 points. Its display supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The fourth spot belongs to Galaxy Note 5 that has recorded a score of 83,354 points. The fifth position smartphone is Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ that has an average score of 82,087 points. The displays of both handsets support Quad HD resolution.

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus that is fueled by Apple A8’s 1.4 dual-core processor has scored an average of 80,554 points holds the sixth position. The OnePlus 2 powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset is on the seventh spot. The LeTV 1Pro, Xiaomi Note Pro and Google Nexus 6P are the remaining smartphones that make up the top 10 list.
