After a few months of public betas, Apple has released the final version of iOS 10.1. This update brings the “Portrait Mode” feature to the iPhone 7 Plus, which is designed to take advantage of the two cameras included in the iPhone 7 Plus. The portrait mode uses the wide-angle and telephoto lenses in the iPhone 7 Plus to create depth of field portrait photos with blurred backgrounds.

The update also brings a list of bug fixes and other improvements to address the problems that have been uncovered since iOS 10 was released, and it brings Transit directions to Japan for the very first time.

There have also been some changes to the Messages app. You can now play Bubble and Screen effects in Messages along with Reduced Motion enabled, something that wasn’t previously available.

To download, open up iTunes or go to Settings > General > Software Update.
