As we near close to the release of Apple MacBook Pro 2016, eBay has reduced the price of the predecessor 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display significantly. However, readers should note that this is a limited period offer.

Released in 2015, the Retina MacBook Pro with 128GB native storage space and 8GB of RAM configuration can now be purchased for $1,039.99 via eBay. Apple, on the other hand, has listed the same notebook for $1,299. With this deal, buyers can save $259.01 or get 19 percent off.

Upon ordering this device, buyers can avail free shipping service from eBay. The discounted 13.3-inch MacBook Pro unit is a brand new device and the seller “Electronics Valley” is offering 1-year Apple warranty. So far, a total of 454 such units have been sold. The MPN number associated with this variant is “MF839LL/A.”

As far as the key specifications go, the 13.3-inch LED-backlit IPS Retina display is complemented by 2,560 x 1,600 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a fifth-generation dual-core (Intel Core i5) Broadwell SoC, running at 2.7 GHz. Graphics is handled by Intel’s Iris Graphics 6100 GPU and the configurations are backed by 8GB of RAM.

On the software front, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite runs the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro out of the box. This device supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt 2 and HDMI ports.

Furthermore, there is a 720p FaceTime HD camera mounted on the notebook. According to Ebay, the built-in 71 watt-hour lithium-polymer battery unit will be able to offer up to 9 hours of battery life after a full recharge. This device comes with a standard notebook keyboard with Force Touch trackpad.
