Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is likely preparing for the launch of an updated model of its 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display with a faster processor and standard 16GB RAM across the board, according to a leaked photo claimed to have come from a recently opened company store in China.

The photo of a purported pricing chart, first spotted by Feng.com, a China-based Apple forum, is said to have belonged to Apple’s recently opened Paradise Walk outlet in Chongqing in southwestern China. The chart shows three configurations of the company’s flagship laptop, with each model featuring faster Intel Core i7 chips and increased RAM, but with prices identical to those found on the current versions of the laptop.

The leaked photo surfaced one week after Intel launched its new Core i7 Haswell processors for high-end notebook computers that are believed to have been incorporated into Apple’s next-generation 13- and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro models.

The first configuration lists the base model of the new 15-inch MacBook Pro with a faster Intel Core i7 2.2 GHz processor and 16GB RAM compared to the entry-level model of the current-generation 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, which features a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM.

The second configuration shows another model of the new 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, which is powered by a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM, compared to the existing model of the device, which features a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM.

The third configuration, which is the top-end model, apparently boasts a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB of flash storage. The latter two models of the device also reportedly sport Intel's Iris Pro graphics and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M, while the first model is said to only feature Intel's Iris Pro graphics.

If the leaked photo proves to be accurate, it means the Cupertino tech giant will sell the latest models at the same price that it's been selling the current versions.

According to the chart, the three new versions of the 15-Inch Retina MacBook Pro will be priced at 14,288 yuan ($2308.59), 18,688 yuan ($3019.53) and 23,688 yuan ($3827.41), respectively, same as the prices for the current versions of the device in China, MacRumors reported.
