Are ‘Riverdale’ Co-Stars Cole Sprouse And Lili Reinhart Dating?

“Riverdale” co-stars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart, who play onscreen lovers Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper, could be dating in real life!

Just recently, multiple sources claimed that the actors were spotted kissing and hanging out with each other. While at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, Sprouse and Reinhart apparently couldn’t keep their hands off each other, according to E! News.

Prior to attending the widely successful event, Sprouse and Reinhart went to party on Friday. An onlooker claimed that the actress always had her eyes on the actor, according to People. Sprouse and Reinhart were then seen kissing and holding hands at the Comic-Con.

Both Sprouse and Reinhart have not confirmed the real status of their relationship. But in May, Sprouse told MTV News that he and the Reinhart are strictly in the friend zone. “Lili and I play characters who are dating, so just about any time she and I go out into the wilderness, it’s ‘Oh my God!’ But truthfully, I’m a sucker for friends, fashion and framing,” the former Disney star said.

Meanwhile, Sprouse and Reinhart recently posed with the adorable Doug the Pug at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con. The famous dog from Instagram even wore a Riverdale-inspired attire for the event. In one of the photos, the co-stars kissed Doug on both of his ears. In another snap, Sprouse hugged the adorable mutt while Reinhart looked straight at the camera. “Riverdale” star KJ Apa, who plays the role of Archie Andrews, also posed with Doug at the event.

In other news, “Riverdale” Season 2 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. EST. The upcoming installment will focus on the big reveal following Fred Andrews’ (Luke Perry) shooting. Jughead and Betty will also struggle with their relationship now that the former is a member of the Southside Serpents.

Archie and Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), on the other hand, will strengthen their relationship following the arrival of her dad, Hiram (Mark Consuelos), and ex-boyfriend, Nick St. Clair. The latter still hasn’t been cast.
