Grupo Financiero Galicia, which controls Argentina's largest bank, reported on Thursday second quarter net profit of 12.6 million pesos ($4.1 million), in line with market expectations.

The company did not immediately provide a comparative figure from the same quarter last year.

Analysts who follow the company polled by Reuters had forecast quarterly net profit of 12.9 million pesos for the financial group.
