It looks like Kara (Melissa Benoist) isn’t the only one who will be heading to Earth-1 to join the battle against the Dominators in next week’s crossover event between “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”
The CW recently unveiled a poster for the four-night crossover event, and apart from featuring the Girl of Steel, the key art also shows Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), a.k.a. J’onn J’onnz, standing next to a breach. Does this mean that he will also be traveling to Earth-1?
In a sneak peek from the crossover event released last week, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) bring Kara from her Earth to Earth-1 by opening a breach between the two Earths. While Martian Manhunter is nowhere to be seen in the clip, that doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t be heading to Earth-1 to help defeat the Dominators. Perhaps, the team will need some backup at a later point in the crossover event, and that’s the only time when the Last Son of Mars will be hopping from one dimension to another.
In an interview with Comicbook.com last year, Harewood said that he would love to appear on “Arrow” and “The Flash.” So if he ends up being a part of the upcoming crossover event, then it won’t be a surprise if fans see him in an episode of “Arrow” and “The Flash” next week.
The crossover event kicks off with Season 2, episode 8 of “Supergirl.” Check out the synopsis for the episode, titled “Medusa,” below:
“Eliza (Helen Slater) comes to town to celebrate Thanksgiving with her daughters. Alex (Chyler Leigh) decides it’s time to come out to her mother; Kara is shocked when Eliza suggests Mon-El (Chris Wood) has feelings for her, and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and James (Mehcad Brooks) consider telling Kara the truth about the Guardian. Meanwhile, CADMUS unleashes a virus that instantly kills any alien in the vicinity so Kara enlists an unexpected ally – Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). Barry Allen and Cisco Ramon seek Kara’s help with an alien invasion on their Earth.”
