“The Flash” and “Arrow” crossover event might be over, but that doesn’t mean the fun between the two shows has to be over. A sneak-peek clip from the “Arrow” Season 3 midseason finale reveals a shout-out to the events of “The Flash” midseason finale and a connection between the two shows. However, even more shocking is the revelation that a familiar face might be a suspect in Sara Lance’s (Caity Lotz) murder.
The clip from episode 9, “The Climb,” begins with Felicity Smoak’s (Emily Bett Rickards) computer screen showing a news article about Reverse Flash’s attack on S.T.A.R. Labs, a bit of nod to “The Flash” midseason finale. The connection between the shows didn't stop there, though, as Felicity then receives S.T.A.R. Labs’ analysis of the DNA sample from Sara Lance’s murder, which she is able to cross-reference with a list of convicted felons in Starling City. Things get complicated when a match comes up – and it's Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).

Perhaps having Oliver Queen as a suspect in Sara Lance’s murder explains the coming showdown between the Arrow and Ra’s Al Ghul (Matt Nable) in the midseason finale. According to the synopsis for the episode, the League of Assassins leader will show up in Starling City, giving Oliver 48 hours to find Sara’s murderer or he will start killing random citizens. The promo also shows Oliver engaging Ra’s Al Ghul for a deadly face-off. Will Oliver’s surprise outing as a suspect lead to the showdown?
