If rumors are to be believed then English football giant Arsenal is set to lose leading Dutch striker Robin Van Persie to Real Madrid who is thought to be readying a £30 million ($49 million) bid for the forward.

Real, last season, lost out on most of top prizes due to serious injury to the club’s Argentinean striker Gonzalo Higuain. Real’s French forward Karim Benzema also struggled to find form which left the club struggling.

Real Madrid’s Portuguese boss has now targeted Van Persie, who had a prolific last season scoring 22 goals in just 26 starts, and is set to test Arsenal over the club’s prized Dutchman.
