North London-based Premiership side Arsenal are believed to have targeted Dutch Eredivisie side Heerenveen’s young midfielder Luciano Narsingh and are expected to prepare a bid to lure the player to the Emirates say the latest reports.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who is known to scout for new and young talent all over the world, has been impressed by Narsingh, 21, and is supposedly aiming to bring the youngster to the Emirates Stadium where the player's talent can be harnessed to help him become a valuable player for both his club and country.

A product of the Ajax youth system, Narsingh has been a revelation in Dutch football over the last two seasons. He can play on both wings and has been rated highly by the Dutch Media. Narsingh, who is of Surinamese descent, was not given much exposure by his previous club and he signed for Heerenveen in 2008. Since then he has matured as a player and has attracted attention from some of Europe’s elite clubs.

Although the player has a contract with the club until 2013 and no specific price has been mentioned, it is believed that the club could cash in on him right now as later his price will fall at the end of his contract, according to Footy Latest report.

Narsingh, who grew into a sensation in the Eredivisie because of his dribbling skills, speed and passing movements, has made as many as 53 appearances for the Abe Lenstra Stadion-based side and has managed to score 11 times.
