The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) public website went offline on Wednesday during the early evening hours of ET, after LulzSec tweeted: LulzSec tweeted: Tango down - cia.gov - for the lulz.

The world's most famous spy agency's website was taken out for about a couple of hours before it was back online.

But in the shadow of the CIA takedown, they also taunted 'th3j35t3r (The Jester)', a well known hacktivist. Jester, with a reputation of being patriotic, is responsible for targeted attacks on Islamic extremist and terrorist websites, especially those who promote Jihad. He had hit the headlines last year with his DDoS attack on WikiLeaks too.

LulzSec and Jester went on a twitter spat moments after the former announced the CIA website hack.

Expect me. My silence is not an indication of weakness, as your mouth is an indication of yours. No comforting words from this point on. My silence previous, and forthcoming, is the anti-you, Jester tweeted.

He also linked to a Lily Allen song, F**k You on his twitter feed.

Pat came the reply from LulzSec in what is typical of their style: u mad bro? LulzSec didn't stop there, going on to ask Jester if he was jealous - u jelly bro?

Jester proclaims to be a Hacktivist for good. Obstructing the lines of communication for terrorists, sympathizers, fixers, facilitators, and other general bad guys... living the dream? on his Twitter bio while the code of ethics of LulzSec as written on their Twitter bio is the world's leaders in high-quality entertainment at your expense. Apparently not really a code of ethics.

The virtually connected individuals that form LulzSec don't claim a political propaganda. Nevertheless after the hacker group Anonymous, LulzSec apparently have taken over the responsibility to protect free speech and more or less show an inclination towards organizations that stand for freedom of speech and transparency. PBS documentary Frontline which showed WikiLeaks in unfavorable light had triggered LulzSec to taunt the organization.

But Jester who vows to takedown bad guys isn't buying the hacking for 'lulz' rule of LulzSec.
