The Anonymous-AntiSec-LulzSec has reportedly hacked into the Universal Music and Viacom servers.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the hybrid hackers' group has claimed to have released a cache of files, which includes passwords and other stolen user data.

After a string of data theft from corporate and government Web sites in the past couple of months, LulzSec earlier this week announced that it was stopping its operation, but rumors suggest they have joined up with Anonymous.

"Make no mistake: While the LulzBoat is still sailing with us (albeit not with the LulzSec flag), the objective of #AntiSec is different. Despite being still driven by Lulz and therefore also providing them, the mission has become larger than us," Anonymous wrote. "AntiSec is more than Lulz and more than even Anonymous: It is our true belief that this movement has the capability to change the world. And should that fail, we will at least rock the world."

Data releases will not contain information that "a typical Lulz Lizard can just abuse mindlessly," Anonymous said. "Instead, we provide material that is primarily against corrupt Governments (in our world this is all Governments) and corrupt companies."

However, the group did not mention why it considers Universal Music and Viacom corrupt.
