BEIJING - China Unicom Ltd. said on Friday that the company's users increased 1.63 million to reach 167 million in March, and increased 1.49 million in February.
As for the users number, China Unicom is China's second largest mobile operator, while China Mobile Ltd. ranks first.
The company's Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) users increased 1.32 million to reach 124.2 million in March, and increased 1.21 million in February.
At the end of March the company's Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network users amounted to 42.8 million, increased 301,000 than February.
