Chen left his CTO position at YouTube "last fall" but Google says he has moved on to other engineering projects at the search giant.

YouTube hasn't officially named a replacement for the CTO position, and it appears the position will not be filled after YouTube's ops merged with the larger Google infrastructure

Chen is also reportedly involved with a new incubator-like venture founded by former BitTorrent exec Ashwin Navin.

Meanwhile, Chad Hurley, the other co-founder, remains as YouTube's CEO.

Below is a video of Chen and Hurley they uploaded on Oct. 9, 2006, when they sold their company to Google.
