New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter, who achieved the milestone of 3,000 hits in July this year and made a perfect sports-Hollywood couple with Minka Kelly, is no longer with his love.

Jeter has always been very personal about his social life. Derek Jeter despite being in news for his linkups with hot models and actresses, handled the reports of his affair with The Roommate actress quite well and never let them affect his career in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Media reports suggested the split is an amicable one.

People confirmed the news about the break-up and quoted a source saying: They care about each other and it was amicable. They're still friends.

Just a day before a People report suggest the link-up of Kelly and her Charlies Angles co-star Ramon Rodriguez.

We have seen Minka and Ramon talking in his trailer way after hours, and often late into the night, People quoted a source as saying. They have been together long after they need to be for the show, the source added.

The actress and the Yankees were 'captured' many times at beaches, cafes, restaurants, parties and on field during Jeter's practice.
