The latest developments in the investigations surrounding the disappearance of Sky Metalwala, 2, from Bellevue, indicate the child has been missing since May and not November, as reported by his mother, Julia Biryukova.

The issue was raised by Sky's father, Solomon Metalwala, who began questioning friends and neighbours, in an attempt to construct a timeline and aid police investigations.

The earlier report of the disappearance, as delivered by Biryukova, suggested Sky went missing from the rear seat of her car, which she left temporarily unattended, on the morning of Nov. 6.

Metalwala, who recently gained custody of his 4-year-old daughter, looked through his son's medical records and made inquiries, only to find that no one, with the exception of one neighbor remembered having seen Sky, komonews.com reported. The one sighting, in October, was outside Biryukova's Redwood apartment, three weeks before the disappearance was announced, said Seattlepi.com.

In April, 2011, Sky's grandfather (Biryukova's father) visited Seattle from his home in Ukraine. Today, after rough investigations, Metalwala is left wondering if his son was taken away by the grandfather, given that there was already a custody battle ongoing between Biryukova and himself at the time.

'I believe anything is possible, he said according to the report, We have no clue what is going on. Right now anything is possible.

Metalwala also mentioned his ex-wife had once e-mailed him, saying she wanted to take the children to Russia, for unknown reasons.

The police have made no statement in this matter, although they acknowledge having met Metalwala on Wednesday.

Metalwala seems positive his son is in good condition, despite having been missing for at least three months now.

I'm going to believe he's alive. I have to, because there's no signs telling me he's not, so I'm going to choose that he's alive, he said.
