Did Tom Brady cry after the Patriots lost Super Bowl 2012? A number of videos and photos purporting to show the Patriots quarterback crying emerged in the aftermath of New England's 21-17 loss to New York Sunday night.

After the game, which was the second time Brady had led his Patriots to a loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl (he did so in 2008 as well), the quarterback sullenly walked off the field to be consoled by his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, but some observers say even she couldn't keep the tears from coming to his eyes.

The blog Floppingout.com provided one of the most compelling photographs of what appears to be Tom Brady crying. The image [see first photo at left] is a screenshot of ESPN SportsCenter taken after the loss, and Brady's eyes are red and moist and his lips appear to be quivering.

Well After getting beat [by] the GGGGGGGGGGGG MEN in the Super Bowl AGAIN, during the '11 campaign AGAIN, and by Eli Manning AGAIN...TOM BRADY PROCEEDED TO CRY TO REPORTERS, the blog wrote Monday in a description posted along with the screenshot.

Another image from Mediatakeout.com showed Tom Brady overcome with emotion and holding his head in his hands at his post-Super Bowl press conference [see the second photo at left].

Despite these images, which seem to present overwhelming evidence of a teary Tom Brady, an undeniable video has not yet emerged that shows Tom Brady bawling his eyes out (much to Giants' fans dismay.) But still the Web was on fire Monday with people reveling in his tears (real or otherwise):

Who loved watching Tom Brady cry yesterday? Answers.yahoo.com user Ian posted on the site Monday, answering his query as follows: Hes a douche it was funny who agrees.

And Tom Brady's biggest fan, his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, was understandably disappointed after the loss, so she made her views known in similarly crass style.

After the game, Gisele Bundchen rushed to her husband and consoled him as they left Lucas Oil Stadium. As Bundchen walked to an elevator in the stadium, Giants fans taunted her about the Patriots' loss. She retorted with the following sneering reply:

I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times, she told the fans in an outburst that was captured on video. My husband cannot f---ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.

Despite the crushing blow to Tom Brady's ego, as well as any crying he may have done already the power couple do have a stunning house where they can cry all they want during the off-season with their 21-month-old son Benjamin. They recently moved into a $20 million, 22,000-square-feet mega-mansion in Brentwood, Calif.
