The Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin, did a moving tribute on Monday to her fallen goddaughter Whitney Houston at the McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte, N.C., by singing her hit song, "I Will Always Love You":

Nearly everyone has seen Jennifer Hudson's instant-classic rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" by now, but in case you haven't, you can watch it below:

"Party Pilipinas, a little-known afternoon TV show in the Philippines, broadcast an emotional tribute performance of a medley of Whitney Houston tunes on the day after her death sung by the show's cast:

Rapper Twista released a heartfelt song just one day after Whitney Houston's death. The song includes heartbreaking lyrics like these: "Ain't nobody like you, nobody before you and nobody after you can ever come near it. Not here in the flesh but you with us in spirit. So sad to hear it. I'm choking up while I come up with these lyrics."
