It's almost time for the 84th Annual Academy Awards, and Oscar 2012 buzz for big categories like Best Picture, Best Actor and Actress and Best Director are in full swing.

But when are the 2012 Oscars? What day of the week are they, and what time do they start? Who's hosting this year, and what are the nominees for the Academy Awards?

Oscars 2012 will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26. The ceremony is expected to start at 7:00 p.m. ET on ABC. To determine which channel is ABC on your cable provider, consult channel information for Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, Dish and Comcast, which is available on their Web sites.

Billy Crystal will be running the Academy Awards this year, his eighth time as Oscars host. He took over in 2012 after Eddie Murphy dropped out in November.
