A homeless man, allegedly high on bath salts and drunk on the controversial drink Four Loko, growled at police officers and attempted to take a bite at them after he was arrested for harassing customers at a fast food restaurant in Miami, authorities said.

Brandon De Leon, 21, was arrested Saturday and will face charges including disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

De Leon was arguing with another man, Brian Yerdon, 33, outside of a Boston Market in Miami. The altercation kept customers from entering the restaurant, reported CBS. Police were called to the scene, and when they approached De Leon, he gave them the middle finger and shouted obscenities. Both De Leon and Yerdon were arrested, but only De Leon had to be physically restrained.

After police got control of De Leon, he began banging his head against the Plexiglas of the police car. He began screaming at the arresting officers I'm going to eat you, reported CBS. Miami police officers said he began acting so erratically, they needed to give him a bite mask and place his legs in restraints.

Brandon growled and opened and closed his jaw, slamming his teeth like an animal would, the report said, reported NBC Miami.

Upon De Leon's arrest, officers discovered that he had in his possession rum and a Four Loko. He was then transported to Aventura Hospital for treatment and observation. A blood test revealed that he was high on bath salts, cannabis and Xanax. He also had a blood alcohol level of .29, reported the Daily Mail.

While in court, De Leon told the judge he did not remember the incident.

If I can say something, Your Honor, I have no recollection of anything that happened that night, he said, reported the Daily Mail.

De Leon is being held in custody on $5,500 bond. Yerdon was also charged with disorderly conduct, reported CBS.
