The numerous, risqué sex scenes in Lars Von Trier's upcoming "Nymphomaniac" will feature body doubles.

According to the Hollywood Reporter," the film's producers maintain that "Nymphomaniac" will utilize "the help of body doubles and visual effects."

In a recent interview with MTV, Shia LaBeouf hinted that many of the film's sex scenes may be unsimulated.

"There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real," LaBeouf said. "Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

"Nymphomaniac" tells the story of Joe, a (you guessed it) nymphomaniac who is cared for by Seligman (Stellan Skarsgard) after she is attacked. Over the course of the film (which will be released in two parts), Joe recalls her life of promiscuity.

This is not the first Von Trier film to feature graphic sex. His 2009 shocker, "Antichrist," opened with an all too realistic sex scene between Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe. The unsettling film, which features genital mutilation, was met with controversy after debuting at the Cannes Film Festival.

The 2011, the Danish filmmaker released the acclaimed but underrated apocalyptic drama "Melancholia." The film was a far cry from the art house shockers he typically helms.

It was announced on Monday that Jaime Bell ("Billy Elliot") and Connie Nielson ("Gladiator") have joined the cast of the provocative drama. "Pornographic" is set to begin filming in Cologne, Germany, on Tuesday. The film is scheduled for release in 2013.
