“The Bachelor” Season 20 wrapped up Monday night when Ben Higgins decided to give his final rose to Lauren Bushnell instead of JoJo Fletcher. While some may have felt bad for JoJo, it was later revealed she would be the star of “The Bachelorette” Season 12. Think you have what it takes to win her heart? Here’s how you can apply to be a contestant on the reality show.
Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher is a 24-year-old real estate developer from Dallas. According to ABC, after being dumped by Ben, she returned home to her parents and brothers and held no hard feelings toward Ben or Lauren. She is reportedly looking forward to being the one handing out the roses this time around when she gets another shot at love on next season’s “The Bachelorette.”
If you are interested in trying to win the heart of JoJo, there are a few ways you can go about applying to be a part of “The Bachelorette.” An online form is available to fill out if you want to apply yourself or recommend someone. The form asks you to upload a photo, answer why you want to be on the show and also requires you to provide some basic information like your name, age, height, weight, address and the biggest city near you.
You can also mail in an application to be on the show. All you have to do is print out an application form, fill it out and include photos and a video of yourself to show why you should be cast. There are separate forms for if you are a man, woman or are recommending someone. You can send your information to Bachelor/ette Casting 11901 Santa Monica Blvd. #595, Los Angeles, CA 90025. Before you can apply, each applicant has to read over and sign eligibility requirements.
There is also a casting call already listed for 2017 seasons. Those in the New York City area can apply on Thursday, June 23, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT for Season 21 of “The Bachelor” and Season 13 of “The Bachelorette.” The call will take place at ABC Studios, which is located at 77 W. 66th St.
