U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn, supports raising the debt ceiling is if President Barack Obama's health care law is repealed.

Bachmann revealed the caveat that will win her support of raising the debt limit during an interview with Fox News Monday.

They'd have to cut an enormous amount, including they would have to defund Obamacare, Bachmann said, responding to a question about what would win her vote to raise the debt ceiling.Because that's the largest entitlement in the history of the country.

The GOP contender said the government hasn’t gone on a diet, it’s private business that has gone on a diet and it’s time to have tough love and just do the opposite. It’s federal government that needs to go on a diet.

Tea Party darling has topped long-time Republican front-runner Mitt Romney in a recent Iowa poll.

Bachmmann captured 25 percent of the vote while Romney polled in second with 21 percent, according to a poll by the Iowa Republican.
