A.J. McLean’s family is about to get bigger!

The 38-year-old Backstreet Boys member and his wife Rochelle are expecting their second child together, the couple announced on social media on Monday, Sept. 5.

“So the Mclean family wil [sic] be expecting a new addition to the family next spring!!” A.J. wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo featuring four different sizes of similar Air Jordan sneakers and the phrase, “AND THAN [sic] THERE WERE FOUR #LABORDAY” written over them.

“#laborday!” he continued. “Ha get it ‘labor’ day! I'm a goof! #avaisgonnabeabigsister #baby2! Keep u all posted!! We're so excited.”

Rochelle, 34, also took to Instagram to share the happy news. She shared the same image and made fun of A.J.’s typographical error. “*THEN there were FOUR! Cats out of the bag! Couldn't be more excited to add another little to our family! Baby McLean #2 spring 2017!” she wrote. At the end of her post, Rochelle didn’t forget to give @xfactorbowling credit for the photo and her husband credit for the “grammar error.”

Hours after the big reveal, Rochelle — who works as a hairstylist and make-up artist — tweeted that she’s “overwhelmed by all the love” she’s received since the announcement.

It appears that A.J. and Rochelle have been looking forward to expanding their family after welcoming their 3-year-old daughter Ava Jaymes in November 2012.

“Mommy and Daddy are trying to figure out when we get Mommy, Daddy time. We are talking about [baby] number two so it’s trying to figure out when and where!” A.J. told People in January.

The “I Want It That Way” hitmaker also said at the time that every child is unique and raising one is always a learning process. “Whatever our next child is, boy or girl, you would think that, ‘Oh I did it once, I’ve got it.’ [But] no. It’s hard,” he said. “It’ll make it easier, but it’s still going to be a brand new learning process.”

Aside from getting ready for the arrival of his second child, McLean is also busy working on the release of his new solo record “Naked.” He is also recording Backstreet Boys’ ninth album and preparing for the band’s 2017 Las Vegas residency. On the acting front, he is also gearing up to portray the lead role in an upcoming film from horror director Eli Roth.
