Barcelona extended their lead the the top of the table to 10 points after Seydo Keita gave them a 1-0 victory over Real Zaragoza.

After a goalles first half, Keita scored two minutes past the break, tapping in from 7 yards off a Lionel Messi corner.

Though the Catalans created a host of chances, their finishing let them down and they failed to find a second goal which would have ensured the victory earlier, though Zaragoza were ineffective on the counter.

The win gave the champions a 10-point lead at the top of the standings over Real Madrid who play Racing Santander on Sunday. It was also a fourth consecutive victory for the Catalans, and they'll hope to maintain the form going into the crucial phase of the season.
