Although it’s no secret that “Basketball Wives” star Jackie Christie and her daughter Ta’Kari Lee do not have the best relationship, it looks like a reconciliation will not happen anytime in the near future for the estranged mother and daughter.

After a public feud with one another following a donation made by Christie’s VH1 co-star Evelyn Lozada, Lee seems to have been going above and beyond to expose her mother and it looks like her latest project will do just that.

On Wednesday, Lee shared two Instagram posts teasing her upcoming book “Lights to Her Shadow: The Ta’Kari Lee Christie Story.” The mother of three shared a page from the book on Instagram reflecting on a dark time from her past when her mother was being inconsiderate.

In the passage, Lee explains the day after her grandmother’s funeral when it was revealed that her mother was on her way to clean out the deceased’s rental. “All us of jumped up and started gathering things that had sentimental value to my grandmother and packing them in our cars,” Lee wrote.

The young woman explained that her mother kept all of the items her grandmother left in Los Angeles, and the family didn’t want her to have valuables from the current home. Lee revealed that after the family split up their grandmother’s belongings, they all went their separate ways until her younger sister gave her a call.

Lee’s sibling explained that she left her purse in the car and needed it because Christie arrived to take her back to Los Angeles but she had no intention of leaving with their mother. “A few minutes later I returned to the house to find my mother in a panic,” Lee wrote.

Christie then approached her daughter telling her the police have been called giving Lee “this nauseating feeling” because she knew her mother blamed her for her sister’s disappearance even though she had no involvement in her sibling’s choice not to return home.

“So many times over the years when she blamed me for stuff no matter how much I declared my innocence she never believed me unless she had proof,” Lee wrote.

When the police arrived, Lee revealed that her mother told the authorities that she was responsible for her sister’s disappearance. “My daughter is missing and my other daughter kidnapped her. She is over there sitting in the car she is crazy and has mental issues,” Christie told the officers.

Lee explained that when the officers approached her she told her them that her sister was legally an adult and left on her own free will. She went on to tell the cops that they were welcomed to search her home and vehicle but she was not responsible for her sister leaving.

Although the passage ends not revealing what happened, Lee shared a photo of the book cover which consisted of a little girl and her shadow standing in the doorway holding a doll.

Lee and Christie’s issues became public after her son suffered a burn injury in daycare and started a Go Fund Me page to pay for his medical expenses. When Lozada donated the full amount, Christie became upset and so began the ongoing social media war with her daughter.

Although Lee has yet to announce a release date for her book, it’s clear that she plans to expose to her mother’s past and everything she has gone through.
