“Bates Motel” is getting real juicy. The sophomore season of the A&E series has had its fair share of murder over the past two years – and episode 7 will dive into some of the ghosts of White Pine Bay past.

Last time fans left off, Norma and Norman came head-to-head over his recent blackouts – something she didn’t realize was still happening to her son. Norma’s discovery (thanks to Cody and Emma) lead her to squash Norman’s chances of getting his driver license. And his mother’s decision forced him to take matters into his own hands, angrily confronting Cody about her betrayal of his dark secret. Cody tried to calm Norman down, but Cody’s alcoholic father woke from his nap and was not pleased about the disturbance in his home. The pair got into a scuffle, and the final scene of the episode showed Norman accidentally pushing Cody’s father down a flight of stairs … and him landing on his neck in a gruesome manor.

Is Cody’s father dead? Or did Norman just injure the man? “Bates Motel” fans will have to wait and see when episode 7 airs on April 14, but photos from “Presumed Innocent” reveal some clues:

Sheriff Romero

Which side of the law is Sheriff Romero on? The police officer has been involved in some shady business over the past two seasons, but in the end seems to want the best for White Pine Bay. Thanks to the promo video for episode 7, we know that Romero will take Norman into custody – but it’s unclear if Norman will be charged, or what he’ll be charged for. However we do know that Romero will uncover new evidence in the murder of Miss Watson, leading him to once again look into the unsolved case. Could it have something to do with Norman’s incident with Cody’s dad?

The Motel

Norman has been neglecting his duties at the motel in order to fool around with Cody. However this photo makes it appear as if Norma will be changing how she runs things. It looks as if Norman is pushing the house cleaning cart around the motel, which means that Norma is keeping a closer eye on her son to keep him out of trouble.

Emma And Norman

Norman and Emma have had a hot and cold relationship since Season 1 of “Bates Motel.” Norman’s been acting very protective of Emma lately, however things may change after Emma’s reveal to Norma about Norman’s blackouts. The two will come face-to-face in episode 7, and there is no denying that Emma appears worried and scared for her friend.

Emma

Does Emma know something we don’t know? The teen always seems to have everyone’s best interests at heart … and has a tendency to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. We’re not sure where Emma is in this new photo, but based on the past couple of episode endings, we wouldn’t be surprised if Emma makes a shocking (or potentially gruesome) discovery.

As we previously reported, episode 7 will find Norma questioning her faith in her son. Meanwhile Norman’s relationship with Cody reaches a “breaking point,” and Dylan will find himself on Zane’s bad side.

Episode 7 of “Bates Motel” will air on A&E on April 14 at 10 p.m. EDT. What do you think will happen in “Presumed Innocent”? Let us know your thoughts and theories in the comments section or send a tweet to @AmandaTVScoop.
