The new trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" gives a closer look into Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) face-off. The trailer debuted during Jimmy Kimmel's talk show late Wednesday.

“Bruce Wayne meets Clark Kent. Ha! I love it!” says Lex Luthor in the latest trailer, summing up what the audience has been waiting for in the Zack Snyder-directed film. The trailer opens with Kent attending a Gotham City red carpet event as a reporter, where he sees Wayne emerging from a black Aston Martin for the first time. When the two are alone together, Kent asks, “What is your position on the bat vigilante in Gotham?”

“Civil liberties are being trampled on in your city,” Kent says. “People living in fear… He think’s he’s above the law.”

Wayne is also seen countering Kent in a similar way, criticizing the metropolis newspaper the Daily Planet, where Kent works, for praising “an alien who could burn the whole place down.” With this, the trailer begins to show the rivalry between the two, which would later be at its extreme when their alter egos come in action.

The action builds in the trailer with the appearance of Doomsday, the previously unseen villain. "Man of Steel" villain General Zod (Michael Shannon) will be used by Luthor to create the grey beast with laser eyes.

Some fans compared Doomsday to a Ninja Turtle or Abomination, the character seen in Marvel's 2008 "Incredible Hulk" movie.

Here are some tweets from fans.

An intense moment in the trailer is when Superman approaches Batman and takes his mask off. The clip was also seen in the teaser released Monday night during Fox's Batman prequel series "Gotham."

The much-awaited reveal of the trailer is the appearance of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) who comes to rescue the two superheroes. The 3-minute trailer ends with fans waiting for more of the Wonder Woman.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justin" premieres in theaters on March 25, 2016. Watch the new trailer here.
