Three days after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner filed for divorce, the Hollywood stars were photographed attending Easter Sunday church service together with their kids.

On Sunday, the couple and their children were seen exiting a Los Angeles church. Affleck and Garner were reportedly seen smiling and chatting following the mass. This is the first time that they were spotted together since they filed for divorce on Thursday, April 13, according to Us Weekly.

Despite separating in 2015, the co-parents have maintained an amicable relationship. Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that both actors looked happy and relaxed when they arrived at the Pacific Palisades church on Sunday. However, the two noticeably entered the church through different doors, as pointed out by Mirror.

Though the two are divorcing, they have decided to request joint legal and physical custody over their three children: Violet, 11, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 8, and Samuel, 5. What they have yet to think through is who gets what, along with their terms regarding spousal support.

Since announcing their split, the “Gone Girl” actor has been staying in their guesthouse in Pacific Palisades, but Us Weekly has learned recently that Affleck is looking to move on with his life by relocating to his own home. “Ben will move out and is looking for a property close by so they can continue to coparent as they have been,” an insider previously told the entertainment magazine. “He will move out when he finds the right place.”

On the other hand, another source told People that both Affleck and Garner are still figuring things out now that they are closer to living separate lives. “They are figuring out what to do” about their future living arrangements,” the source said. “For now, they are all living together. One thing they agree on — the kids will stay at the family house. Jen and Ben will focus on making things as smoothly as possible for the kids. It’s all about what’s best for them.”

Meanwhile, the divorce filing comes after Affleck admitted to seeking treatment for alcohol addiction in rehab last month. “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront,” he revealed in a candid Facebook post.
