There are times when fans can get overzealous, especially when they finally get to see their favorite celebrities. But Beyoncé and Jay Z’s experience with Norway fans was simply overwhelming when the two were mobbed on the streets of Oslo.

The "Crazy in Love" singer and her husband were in Oslo for a meeting at the headquarters of Tidal, the rapper’s new music streaming service, when fans gathered outside the building hoping to catch a glimpse of the two celebrities. Upon leaving the Tidal office, both were surprised to see the crowd of people waiting for them Tuesday morning, E! News reported.

Photos and videos posted on social media show Jay Z holding Beyoncé’s hand as he attempts to lead her through the mob to the safety of their SUV. Their bodyguards can also be seen pushing fans away from them, Yahoo reported. Some of the fans even gathered around the SUV as it slowly drove away.

The trip to Norway came just a few days after the couple attended a friend’s wedding in Italy. Brides magazine reported Tuesday that the couple spent Memorial Day weekend in Florence to celebrate the nuptials of businessman Noam Gottesman and fashion executive Bianca Dueñas. The bride and groom are close friends with Beyoncé and Jay Z since the couples reportedly traveled to Thailand together last December.

According to Page Six, on Monday, Beyoncé and Jay Z were able to enjoy their break in Florence, touring the San Miniato al Monte church on Sunday and joining a guided tour of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze.

Beyoncé also recently made news when the music video that she and Nicki Minaj did for "Feeling Myself" caught the attention of fans over the seemingly wasteful use of an expensive bottle of Champagne.
