Beyoncé has been looking less like her bootylicious self lately, sparking comments that she may be losing too much weight. The 31-year-old has been on her “Mrs. Carter” world tour since April, which could explain her slimmer physique. Earlier this week, she posted full-body pictures, which prompted people to comment on how much smaller she looks.[[nid:1504592]]

“Bey looks super toned and skinny! Werkkkkk! That's what carrying around a baby and being a working mom will do for you!!!!” one fan said.

“Wat happen[ed] to her a--?...looking kinda flat back there somebody needs 2 feed her cornbread so she can get back [to being] thick…[sic],” a disappointed male wrote.

Here are the top ways Beyoncé probably lost weight.

Did Dancing Cause Her Weight Loss?

Queen Bey never just stands and sings. She's known as much for her amazing singing voice as for her dance skills. (“Single Ladies,” anyone?) She is the ultimate performer and entertainer, and always shows off dance moves throughout her concerts, especially during her many fast-paced songs. Dancing for the average-sized woman can burn up to 200-300 calories in only 30 minutes, and Beyoncé’s concerts are typically well over an hour long.

Beyonce’s Diet While On Tour

Beyoncé’s diet could also explain her recent weight loss, as she revealed last May how she stays in shape during her world tour. While the vigorous nightly performances certainly keep the 31-year-old megastar's body toned, she also has a healthy diet. She posted a photo on her official Tumblr site of her dinner, which started with a salad niçoise, a mixed salad of tomatoes and green beans topped with tuna and anchovies. That dish was followed by a sweet potato, chili and coconut soup. Her main course was marinated, pan-seared medallion of beef and vegetables. Though she eats very healthily, Beyoncé also admitted she has a sweet tooth and posted a picture of chocolate cake. While she indulges her sweet tooth at times, it is no wonder, given her diet regimen, that Beyoncé has an enviable body and looks to have lost weight in recent months.

Beyoncé’s Exercise Regimen

Beyoncé undoubtedly trains hard to get through her nightly performances without being tired and out of breath. In February, Beyoncé's personal trainer, Marco Borges, spoke to Life & Style magazine about how he helped whip the new mom into shape. She combines cardio, lunges and a diet full of veggies and lean meat to achieve her body. Borges said he put her on a partially vegan diet, with “one vegan meal a day, because this typically gets people to eat more greens than they normally would." He added, "Consistency is the key to success. I love running-sprint intervals for quick cardio sessions and also ... running stairs."

Vegan Diet

Bey and rapper/producer husband Jay Z are currently on a vegan diet for 22 days. The plant-based diet may have a number of positive effects, including weight loss, improved heart health, and diabetes prevention or control. Unlike vegetarians, who eliminate meat, fish and poultry, vegans don't consume any animal products at all, including dairy and eggs.
