‘Big Bang Theory Actress’ Kayley Cuoco Says She is ‘Not Engaged Anymore’

In the last week of October, Kaley Cuoco, the actress from the sitcom The Big Bang Theory, announced her engagement to addiction specialist Josh Lazie Resnik. But just four months later, it seems the wedding can't be expected anytime soon. The 26-year-old actress has called off their engagement and broke the news at an event in Los Angeles Thursday night.

When Cuoco was asked about co-star Kunal Nayyar's wedding and if it gave her any ideas for her own big day, she revealed the news, reported ET Online.

I'm not engaged anymore, so no...But in general, yes. For my future wedding, yes, she said.

At the time of announcing the engagement, her rep had told People magazine: The surprise proposal took place during a quiet date night at home. The couple is very happy and excited to begin planning their wedding.

Cuoco had previously dated her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki for two years. However, she was tight-lipped about the relationship throughout.

It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it. It was a wonderful relationship, but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together, the actress had told CBS Watch magazine.

The actress created quite the media buzz when she joked on the red carpet for the Golden Globes Awards that she had been engaged and showed off a huge diamond ring on her ring finger.

I'd like you to know who I'm engaged to -- Chopard, the jewelry designer, she announced. She later revealed that she'd worn the borrowed ring on that particular finger because it fit perfectly.

After her rep announced her engagement with Resnik, an excited Cuoco had tweeted thanking her fans for the good wishes: Thanks to everyone's well wishes! So sweet and means a lot to us! #ecstatic.
