‘Big Bang Theory’
What will Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) new bedroom look like now that he's moved out of the apartment he once shared with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) in “Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 11? CBS

“Big Bang Theory” is expected to wrap up the first half of Season 10 with new developments. Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) will welcome their daughter, Hallie, but due to this, Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) plan to have sex on the former’s birthday won’t materialize.

However, other than these two stories, viewers of the hit CBS sitcom may also expect some changes when it comes to the look of Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) original bedroom. While speaking with Glamour, showrunner Steve Molaro confirmed that Penny’s original room has been redesigned by Sheldon.

In Season 10, episode 4, Amy and Sheldon moved in together, but the couple decided to live in Penny’s apartment. Penny, on the other hand, moved in with her husband, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), who previously shared an apartment with Sheldon.

Despite some of the changes in Sheldon and Amy’s new room, Molaro revealed that the former’s couch in his old apartment won’t be moved or changed. In fact, the spot where Sheldon typically sits will still be his no matter what. “It’s always his spot. It doesn’t matter if he lives there or not. The couch is going to stay where it is, and that is always going to be his spot even though he’s across the hall. I think that’s one of the strands of glue that helps keep – even though this change happened, it will always feel like the ‘Big Bang Theory,’” he said.

Meanwhile, even though “The Birthday Synchronicity” will be focused on Hallie’s arrival, Molaro told TV Line that there will be no delivery room scenes in the episode. What will only be shown in the episode are the events before and after Bernadette gives birth.

“Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 11 will air on CBS on Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. EST.
