After a week off, “Black-ish” is back on ABC tonight with an all-new episode called “Richard Youngsta.” Episode 19 of Season 3 will feature Chris Brown as a rapper who is part of Dre’s (Anthony Anderson) latest campaign.

Although Dre is excited for the chance to work with the rapper, his feelings change when his wife Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) and mom Ruby (Jenifer Lewis) suggest the campaign plays on stereotypes. Elsewhere in the new episode of “Black-ish,” Bow tries to stop the family from eating so much take-out food but realizes they may be stuck in their ways.

The news of Brown’s casting hasn’t gone over well with Twitter, with one user writing, “The only way I want Chris Brown on ‘Black-ish’ is if the episode topic is debating having Chris Brown on ‘Black-ish’ and they decide ‘Nah.’”

Earlier this month, series creator Kenya Barris responded to comments that claimed the show was focusing too much on race since the election of Donald Trump as president. Speaking during a Clark Atlanta University gala, Barris said he hears the feedback and loves it.

According to Barris, while he’s aware of the feedback, he won't let it dictate what he does, saying, “I love any and all feedback. Someone said a long time ago, like, ‘If you believe any of it, you believe it all.’ So I listen to it all, [but] I do not allow it to sort of define what we do.”

Anderson shared the same sentiments, telling AOL Build, “We don’t allow anyone to dictate us, the stories that we tell or whatnot. We just tell the stories that we want to tell, the stories that we feel affect us individually and as a community at large.”

“Black-ish” airs March 29 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
