BlackBerry has just announced a May Madness sale. Both BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Priv are under the sale ambit, giving out significant discounts or freebies for a limited period of time.

The standard BlackBerry Passport can now be availed for just $375, while the original price used to be $499. Both Black and White variants are on discount. The well-received Passport Silver Edition, on the other hand, has been priced at $410. This handset used to retail at $549 in the U.S.

Meanwhile, BlackBerry's May Madness sale has listed the Priv for $649. However, the Canadian tech giant will be offering a Black flip case and a sync pod free of cost upon purchasing this slider handset.

The total value of the two freebies is $99. Not a bad deal for a relatively new handset released towards the end of 2015. It is worth noting that this offer is not limited to the U.S., but Canadian and European customers can also utilize this discount deal.

But then, as reported earlier, the BlackBerry Priv has been massively discounted on eBay. This device will now set the buyers back by just $379.99, as part of a limited period offer. However, there is no warranty available because the discounted units are international factory unlocked variants.

While the BlackBerry Passport runs on BB 10 OS, the BlackBerry Priv runs Android Lollipop out of the box. However, it is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Priv comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides in and out of the handset. To top it off, it also has two curved edges.

The Passport, on the other hand, has a square display, which makes viewing, editing and creating Microsoft Office-related files easier. In addition, this device has three rows of QWERTY keyboard, which is preferred by BlackBerry’s ardent fans to help with the productivity.
