Blacklist
Liz (Megan Boone, far left) and Red (James Spader, center) are on the case of Dr. James Covington (not pictured) after finding a body without its heart in episode 3 of "The Blacklist" Season 2. NBC

It seems after Monday night’s episode of “The Blacklist,” Red (James Spader) can put the whole Berlin (Peter Stormare) thing behind him – for now at least. In episode 2 of the hit NBC drama’s second season, Red made a deal with his nemesis to get his ex-wife (Mary Louise-Parker) back after getting hold of all Berlin’s money. While Berlin is still at large, the synopsis for episode 3, “Dr. James Covington,” reveals he will be dealing with another baddie in the next episode.

Dr. James Covington will be next on Red’s list. Covington, as the promo for the episode reveals, is a dirty surgeon who kills people to supply his black market organ-selling operation. According to the synopsis, Red and Liz (Megan Boone) get on the case after a body is found with a missing heart.

Red and Liz will have an unlikely partner in the case – Mossad agent Samir Navabi (Mozhan Marno). After kidnapping Red in the premiere, Navabi showed up again in episode 2, mysteriously rescuing Liz from corrupt FBI agents in Poland. At the end of the episode it was revealed that Navabi and Red are now working together, but fans do not yet know why. According to the synopsis, she will join forces with Red and Liz for the investigation of Dr. Covington.

The promo for episode 2 also shows that Red encounters some more trouble, with a new group of people out to kill him. But who are they?
