It doesn’t take much to set the Internet abuzz. And NBC “Voice” coach Gwen Stefani did just that Monday when she flirted with fellow “Voice” coach Blake Shelton during one of the last blind auditions. The coaches were trying to woo a singer onto their team who was described as a mix between Colbie Caillat and Norah Jones.

Stefani, who sang with the 1990s band No Doubt, was trying to tell the contestant, Amy Vachal, that she could be "distracted" by the male coaches. She said that Pharrell Williams was “cute” and when she addressed Shelton, he cut her off so that she couldn’t compliment him.

While the country singer described himself as “Sasquatch,” Stefani, 46, said that Blake was “handsome.” The “Lonely Tonight” singer giggled after the comment.

Later in the show, when Stefani and Shelton went head-to-head over another contestant, the country singer jokingly mocked a comment the No Doubt told a contestant, saying: “I can give you something that he can’t give you”

The final flirt of Monday night happened toward the end of the show. Stefani convinced a country singer to become the final member of her team by saying, “I’m pretty tight with Blake.”

Rumors that Shelton and Stefani are dating have swirled for weeks, with the “Sangria” singer’s representative denying the claims. Both of the singers are newly divorced, with Shelton being more open about life after divorce than Stefani.

"I'm in a good place," he said on CMT's “Hot 20 Countdown” on Saturday. "I wasn't, but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I'm loving it."
