‘Blindspot’
Will Roman (Luke Mitchell) be able to gain the trust of the FBI again in "Blindspot" Season 2, episode 12? NBC

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 12 will see Roman (Luke Mitchell) at the center of another major mission.

In “Devil Never Even Lived,” Kurt Weller’s (Sullivan Stapleton) team would have to decide whether or not they could send Roman out on the field in an undercover mission. After all, one of the tattoos discovered in episode 11 had a direct connection to him. Unfortunately, Roman still doesn’t have all of his memories back, and the last time Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) trusted him, he ran away from his sister. When he was found, Roman started remembering the most painful things from his childhood. One memory involved him killing his rabbit, and another memory had to do with physically hurting another kid at the orphanage in exchange for his freedom.

The teaser for episode 12 opens with Jane being told that Roman is a dangerous criminal. At present, Roman is in isolation, but he needs to be released so he could help stop a dangerous attack. In the clip, Jane encourages Kurt and Nas (Archie Panjabi) to let her brother go. Kurt and Nas agrees and sends Roman as an undercover, but doing so will only make things worse. In the teaser, a man points a gun at Kurt and Nas. By the looks of it, Roman is once again ready to kill. Jane tries to stop her brother from shooting, but a gunshot is still fired.

Meanwhile, Mitchell previously spoke with The Hollywood Reporter in September 2016 to say that he believes there’s still a good side to Roman. The actor added that his character’s sister, Jane, is his saving grace. “His sister is the human representation of the love he’s lost,” he said.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 12 will air on NBC on Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. EST.
