“Blindpot” Season 2 has just cast Garret Dillahunt for a guest starring role.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Dillahunt will play the role of Travis, an Iraq veteran. Travis made some mistakes in the past, and he is running from its consequences. He will chance upon Reade (Rob Brown), who is also struggling with his own problems, and the two will bond with each other. Travis will play an important role in Reade’s life because he will advise him not to commit the same mistakes he did.

Dillahunt will be part of next Wednesday’s episode of “Blindspot” Season 2. Episode 18, titled “Senile Lines,” will also see Kurt Weller’s (Sullivan Stapleton) team struggling to defend themselves during one of their biggest rival’s investigation. In the previous episode, the entire FBI team was interviewed because of their connection with terrorists.

Elsewhere, Kurt, Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander), Zapata (Audrey Esparza), Patterson (Ashley Johnson), Reade and Nas (Archie Panjabi) will witness a mysterious death at a foster home. They will be led to the character’s body after he or she is linked to one of Jane’s tattoos.

Meanwhile, “Blindspot” Season 2 only has a few more episodes left before the finale. However, the network has not yet announced whether or not the series will be picked up for a third season. According to TV Line, the ratings for “Blindspot” Season 2 have not been as impressive as the ratings the show received in Season 1.

The publication noted that one of the reasons why viewers may no longer be interested in the series is because it now features several subplots. Initially, fans were curious to know who Jane was and what her real name is, but both of those mysteries have already been solved.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 18 will air on NBC on April 5 at 8 p.m. EST.
