Booth (David Boreanaz) gets a visit from Brennan (Emily Deschanel) in prison in the "Bones" Season 10 premiere. FOX

It is no secret for fans of “Bones” that Booth (David Boreanaz) will be starting out Season 10 behind bars. The new season, set to premiere on Fox on Thursday, Sept. 25, will feature Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth struggling to pick up the pieces after the fallout from the McNamara conspiracy -- and based off of a sneak peek of episode 1, Booth’s life may be in danger.

The F.B.I. agent was wrongly imprisoned at the end of Season 9 after being framed while digging a bit too far into the McNamara case. Trailers for the new season have shown Booth having a tough time in prison, fighting with fellow inmates who are less than pleased to have a cop in their ranks. However the new clip suggests his situation might be even worse than you might think. Bones is worried Booth might not even survive behind bars.

A sneak peak from the premiere shows Brennan visiting Booth behind bars -- complete with an orange jumpsuit. Tensions are high as guards (the trailer shows that guards aren’t friends to Booth either) seem to be listening in on them. Booth is sporting some ugly wounds after some fights with other prisoners and Brennan is worried for his safety. Brennan warns Booth that the same people who framed him are hoping he will not survive his time in jail. She is visibly worried, but Booth just wants her to focus on clearing his name.
