The hit R&B group Boyz II Men received a long overdue honor on Thursday: a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Group members Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, as well as former members Michael McCary and Marc Nelson, were present for the ceremony.

This is probably one of the proudest moments of my life, Stockman said.

Boyz II Men is famously known for their love ballads. Their 1994 album II included some of their biggest hits, including I'll Make Love to You, Water Runs Dry, and On Bended Knee. One of their biggest collaborative songs was with Mariah Carey (One Sweet Day) for her Daydream album.

Former member Nelson left the group in its early days to pursue a solo music career. McCary left the group in 2003, reportedly due to health issues stemming from scoliosis.

The remaining three members have been doing well professionally, although not at the same level as when they were a quartet. They released their anniversary album Twenty in October 2011, which included re-recorded hits, such as the above mentioned, as well as new songs.

More recently, the trio collaborated with teen R&B sensation Justin Bieber on his Christmas album Under the Mistletoe, crooning along for the song Fa La La.
